Long Business Description
In addition to recycling services, during the last few years Kintyre Recycling has been upcycling and selling on second-hand furniture in the Kintyre Reuse Hub which is now based at 64 Longrow Campbeltown.
Funding received from the Social Economy Growth Fund for a 2 year funded project allowed Kintyre Recycling to develop the project and grow reuse services to establish high quality furniture reuse services and products to provide affordable furniture and household items for the local community as well as supporting low-income families to access affordable furniture.
Also to create more employment positions for people with additional needs locally and provide volunteering opportunities.
